About Me
I like strawberry ice cream and long walks on the beach. Ok well seriously.
I am 36 years old, and quite short. And by short I mean 6'6".
I am fairly active at the gym, but I'm not going to tell you I have a six pack. I mean, I do have a six pack, but it's hidden under my stomach. I like to work out but I am by no means ripped. I am also into running. I've run a dozen half marathons so far, and plan to do a dozen more in 2013.
My hobbies include traveling big time, I travel all across the country for sports, races, and just to get away in general. I guess you can say i'm just a tad bit obsessed.
Yes I'm active, but I wouldn't call myself a health nut. Sure I train for half marathons and eat healthy for that, but I also celebrate completing these races with pizza and wings.
I do like football and baseball but primarily, I LOVE hockey. Best...Sport....Ever.
And right now you're thinking, "Oh look, a bald guy!" And that's bald by choice, because I was tired of being mistaken as Patrick Swayze or Fabio. My hair is so thick and luxurious but I have to shave it because it keeps getting in my eyes....besides, my best feature is my head so I don't want to hide that from everyone.
So you know those muscle bound guys with the Tapout or the Affliction tshirts? Yeah that's not me. I make fun of those guys. I'm normal, laid back, and down to earth...I'm real.
I am often the funny and goofy one in the group, but I also have a serious side as well.
I love music. I love rock music mainly, but am open to other types. My favorites range from Billy Joel to Sammy Hagar to Motley Crue. There are a few songs on my ipod that surprise me though and I don't often admit to it!
I am a huge Stephen King fan. I will read anything he puts his name on. Hell if he sold his grocery list I'd buy it.
Basically my goal here is to meet new people, and hope to find a spark with someone to turn into something more serious. I have no expectations for things, I just want to have fun and see where things can lead. I'm a really fun person and I want to find another fun person to share my hobbies with. I forget the rules of the game, but then again, I don't want it to be a game. I don't play games. I don't want to worry about saying or doing the right things, I just want to be me, and I just want to have fun.
I'm the complete package....I'm the jokester but know how to be serious when needed. I'm a nice guy, but I also have that bad boy image. For example just last week I was in the express lane at the store....15 items or less.....I had 16. That's how I roll.
For all the important stuff...I have a great job, I've been with the same company for 18 years. I've got my BA and MBA. Got a car, a house, blah blah blah.
I love animals. I have a dog and a cat myself.
