About Me
Well, let's see. I'm kind-hearted and loyal to a fault. I am a divorcee (since 2009) and I have a 5-year old son who lives with his mother in Louisiana. I work painstakingly hard to remain a constant presence in his life while I deal with the physical absence. That being said, he is my life source and heartbeat. Finding the right woman who accepts that he will be a permanent fixture in my life is crucial, and non-negotiable. My son will always come first.
That being said, I have a tremendous amount of love to give. The trick is, finding your soul's recognition of its counterpoint in another. Ha! I actually just plagiarized "Wedding Crashers". So be it. It's corny, but it's true. And one of my favorite movies it turns out;) I am extremely passionate about music...so much so that I've been playing and writing my own songs since I was 17. I play acoustic/electric guitar. I used to be in bands, play live shows a lot, but now I just do it in my free time to unwind and sooth myself. My taste in music is all over the place so I appreciate several genres. That's something for 1st date convo..haha.
I'm putting myself out there I suppose, by creating a profile on what seems to be the only way to meet women anymore. Eh, you know what they say...nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'd say what I'm looking for in my ideal woman but I think it's pretty obvious. I want someone who can reciprocate love and affection. To simply be able to enjoy each others company with no pretense. A woman who is confident, strong, (independent in their own right) who challenges me and makes me want to be the best version of myself.

First Date
I am super spontaneous so I'm all for making the most of an opportunity. But I can also be somewhat traditional. Sometimes dinner and a movie is just what the doctor ordered. Other times, you have to buck convention and play it as it comes. It's all about feeling the other person's energy. Bottom line though...whomever I take out will definitely have my undivided attention and feel like the most beautiful girl in the room.
