About Me
So i recently had to eat my words when i learned to love the gym and the great outdoors! believe me, for someone who grew up nerdy with bad allergies, this is huge. The miracles of modern medical science have allowed me to begin embracing a side of me i didn't know existed, the nature lover. just recently started hitting some hiking trails, but admit i don't know a lot of what is out there and would love someone to share the experience!
I think humor is one of the most important things in life, and without it life is just so many gray days and dark nights. Although dark knights are ok I suppose. I love laughing, and feel that the best way to deal with life's sour grapes is with a smile and a sarcastic quip. That and a wine press.
I'm not really a fan of nightclubs, as I prefer to have conversations with the people I am with, rather than yell at them from a foot away while fourteen elbows jam me in the spleen.
Conversation is an important part to any relationship I believe, and while physical attraction is important, being able to "not annoy" each other is a bit higher on my list of must haves.
Ideally my match would enjoy some of the nerdy things I do, like playing video games, watching movies at home, or discussing optimal survival tactics for the eventual robot/zombie/alien holocaust. Someone who can handle being honest and truthful, no mind games (unless they involve 6-sided dice, that might be interesting) and someone who most importantly can handle a good joke. I was raised on reruns of Married...with Children, so am a true zen master of the zing.
In all honesty, I'm just looking for that person who I can spend a day on the couch with and never once imagine I'd rather be doing anything else, with anyone else. Here is to hoping my princess will not be in another castle . . .

First Date
The most important aspect of any date is having the opportunity for genuine conversation, to try and pierce that awkward first layer and get to feel what a person is really all about. That and booze.
