About Me
Okay, let's start with the fact that I love to travel. I went to Panama during Carnaval (2012). I really like the Caribbean. Two of my next three stops may be Spain (or Italy) & Africa. I also like to work out, not just cardio. I can leg press between 450 and 600 lbs. I can run 3-5 miles without stopping and can swim about a mile in the pool. I also love the different tastes of food, which is where the size comes into play. Know that my profile lists me as BBW moreso because of my height than my waistline.
Contrary to popular belief (i.e. what black people/women won't/don't do), I also want to learn to surf, scuba dive (plan to get certified this summer), play golf, among other things. Oh need I forget to mention, I am a die hard Raider fan (of course I'm a season ticket holder). I have one son & he is over 18. Let me add that I am somewhat hesitant to date men who have young children, because once all parties are aware of the new woman in the man's life, tension seems to build, particulary between the man and the ex. Since my son is grown, my parental obligations are minimal. You can rest assure that you will not be judged by the baggage from any previous relationships. Know that I am sane and have a life and passions of my own, as should you.
FYI: I see there is need for clarification. I initially put on my profile casual dating, no commitment but I realize that for many that equates to booty call. I later put I want a relationship, but then people assume that you are ready to marry based upon one or two conversations. So here I am with wants to date but nothing serious. I would like to get to know someone. I would like for my relationship to find me, I'm not really into searching for it. Let's just say that I will know it when I see it. In the process, I would love to meet new and interesting people. I also need to know that the person on the other end is not only sane, but can carry on a decent conversation in a multitude of settings, that probably means above average intelligence, with more than a splash of common sense.
