The secret of happiness in life consists of three elements: Experiencing the past, Embracing the present and Hoping for the future, but we destroy it with: Regret the past, Wasting the present and Fearing the future.
What we are looking for here: All relationships require work. They don’t just materialize and maintain themselves, and they aren’t built on a foundation of convenience either. They take time and patience and two people who are willing to put in the effort.
Here’s how to do your part – nine things your relationships need from you:
9. Self Love
And at the end I like to add an important note for all of us here and every where:
We, as humans, all make mistakes. Nonetheless, there is no excuse for the lack of making our best attempt to avoid these mistakes, via educating ourselves, thinking critically about our actions, and learning how to live the most responsible lives possible. As we are a part of this world and in symbiosis with all life on Earth, we are obligated to understand how to respect our environment to the fullest and not abuse it out of recklessness. Animals, in this regard, are living better, more responsible lives, than are human beings. Since we have brains and can understand the harm we do, what is our excuse? Overpopulation and irresponsible population growth is at the core of our destructiveness here on Earth, especially since we, as consumers, produce the waste and deplete the resources at the rates we do, particularly in the USA and China. In our confusion about life and what to do about our situation, what is the result? We bring more little confused consumers into this world to deplete our resources at an even greater rate! Our world is finite, our resources are finite, and the Earth's biosphere has limited capacity to clean up the mess we are making of it. While many people may debate about what is best to do, two positive actions are beyond debate: Learning about the issues and being more responsible about population growth. Dr. Paul R. Ehrlich, biologist, educator and professor at university of Stanford has written one of the best books in the history of man kind which is the best source of educating people, named " Population bomb".
