About Me
I'm 27 years old, well educated with two B.S. degrees, very tall (6'3") with average build, and probably the exact opposite of the "bad boy" persona that seems to be all too popular these days. I have a very eccentric personality and try to be fun for those around me, but generally have trouble starting a conversation (I was a bit too shy growing up, so it's a bit stuck with me). I am a bit of a nerd or geek, but I really prefer being a bit outgoing, I just don't have anyone to go out with anymore (tennis is boring by yourself, and tiring... chasing after that ball like a lab)
I enjoy many geeky and nerdy things such as movies, computers, gadgets, and video games, and even plan to one day open a video game design studio. I also enjoy much more exerting activities, such as tennis, swimming, and working out, but I stopped when I had no one that cared to do such activities with me, they are kinda boring to do alone. I'm not much of a book person anymore, generally getting all my information from the internet (keep in mind, I read a lot of journal articles online - aka scientific publications). I do have favorite books though, being The Count of Monte Cristo, and Robinson Crusoe. My favorite movies are hard to decide on, but I am a fan of sci-fi, action, parody, comedy, and super hero movies. I'll watch anything I find interesting though.
My profile has "non religious" listed, but this doesn't mean I am atheist or such, there is just nothing better to put there. I do believe in a higher being, I just search for what I feel is right rather than what I am told or read. If this offsets you, you may just need to have a little conversation with me. Most people don't think of me as an atheist after a good conversation.
I am looking for someone who, above all else, is looking for me. I want someone who is able to enjoy many of the things I do (and at least enjoy some video games, after all, I want to make them someday). It would also be nice to be with someone who would help push me to stay in shape and work out with me, give me a reason to stay in shape and show off. So, basically I want someone who can enjoy some of the things I do and wants to go out with me and even keep in shape with me (I find athletic activities to much more fun when with someone).
If you are allergic to any type of animal, primarily cats, it may be best to keep on moving. I am known to absorb 20% of an animals fur through osmosis (also known as hugging and squeezing). If I wasn't squeamish and so empathetic, I'd have been a vet. I can't wear dark clothes much anymore because I now own a siamese linxpoint, and my black shirt suddenly appears grey from a stippling effect.
So, if you're looking for someone tall, smart , and honest, I might just be the guy. Having a good time and getting to know each other is the most important thing to start with. A movie is always a great way to learn about each other, as you can find out what the other likes and hates on a particular movie and go from there.
