About Me
Hi!
So here's the story:
I'm new to SF. After 8 1/2 years in LA, I decided it was time for a change, so here I am!
I like baseball, Mexican food, wearing hoodies and jeans, my iPad, Nine Inch Nails, cold weather, driving, grammar, mascara, South Park, and dudes who look like dudes.
I dislike vegetables, skinny jeans, Oprah, people who are rude to waitstaff, and the smell and taste of truffles.
I'm a Giants fan (but my heart will always belong to my hometown Cubbies). I enjoy going to baseball games and try to visit at least one new ballpark each year. I travel to Arizona for a long weekend every March for Spring Training, too. Aside from baseball, I love pretty much all live sporting events (hot dog + beer = happiness). I also enjoy going out to the movies, dive bars, and steakhouses, but also love sprawling out on my couch and watching crap TV.
I'm from the Midwest and am very close to all of my family. Being from the Midwest does have its downsides, though, like my unfortunate love of soft, white Wonder Bread, Velveeta, and Miracle Whip (and preferably, all together). I'm very excited about exploring the Bay Area and discovering some new tasty treats. I like to eat out, by the way. In fact, I don't really ever grocery shop or eat at home. I'm fine with it, but I think some people probably think that's weird.
The law is my life, as I'm a defense litigation attorney. I love what I do, even though it totally and completely kicks my ass most days, but I know it's what I'm supposed to be doing. I hope to someday be able to also teach - either at the college or law school level.
I'm interested in meeting other busy professionals who have worked hard to get where they are, and are self-sufficient (I don't expect you to be a sugar daddy, and I certainly don't want to be anyone's sugar mama), but who can also be laid back and silly.
