About Me
If I could say anything first, it would be that I'm a geeky musician with a confident disposition. I'm not your average geek with the tucked in short sleeve shirt and awkward hair however I do have some tendencies:
I like watching the Big Bang Theory. I'm no scientist but I have practiced some of the hobbies they have.
I play online games once and a while. Not hardcore 3-8 hours a day 7 days a week. More like 1-2 hours a week here or there.
I love comic movies. Thor, Avengers, the Dark Night. The list goes on.
I'm into electronics. I built my own computer. I have a receiver, not a stereo.
That being said, I also love music. Many types but not all. Hard rock mostly. Sometimes you'll catch me listening to 90's grunge. Also some odd ones that you probably never heard of. I listen to music to better myself as a musician. I am in a newly formed band who rehearses twice a week. I play the drums and help guide the band with where to go in a song or how to progress with the rhythm. We hope to start playing live shows within a year. I've been playing drums since I was 12 and have played shows before. It's one of those great experiences which I look forward to having again. (Amongst other things...)
Lastly my job! I work as an IT consultant for a trading firm. I love my job and am next in line to get a permanent position for the company. That's right, I am not a broke musician looking for a girlfriend who I can bum money from and stay at their house while I try to become a rock star. I have a steady full time job. That's where geek meets musician. It makes a good combination!
