About Me
These "about me" things are difficult. Words cannot really express or give justice to who someone really is. However, for the purpose of this site I will give a little explanation of myself.
I came to Ottawa in 2004 to study at the University of Ottawa. I studied History and English in there and had planned on travelling down the path of teaching one day. I've met many amazing people here who I will cherish for the rest of my life. I'm a country boy at heart and will always be that way. Soooo if you are not into "that sorta thing" or are too much of a city slicker to not know what you are missing in the country then I might as well save you the trouble and tell you to stop reading here.
In about second year University I met my best friend Mike through a mutual friend of ours. We partied together all the time and once in a drunken stooper home we talked about how much we wanted to work in a bar. Funny enough the next week as we were leaving Minglewoods (I know you know it) the bouncer at the door was like "hey! You guys want a job" and we were like "**** yeah we were just talking about this actually!!" So we became bouncers at Minglewoods. I continued on there for 5 years working every job from bouncer to head bouncer to server to bartender to manager, then Minglewoods sold and I was out of a job. As sad as I was it was the best thing to happen to me and allowed me to find a job with the Royal Oak. I've worked at the location on Laurier as the Assistant Manager for over a year and a half now. It's the location right by the University of Ottawa and I love it there! I'm not the typical douchie bar star but if you can't handle the fact I work in a bar or have been burned by someone in the past who worked in a bar and hold a grudge stop reading here!
All serious now.. This is what I'm looking for: I'm looking for someone who is active and likes to take care of themselves. It's how I am so I need someone who is the same. Someone who is ready to embark in an adventure with me who is ready to have a real relationship! No bullshit, no drama, and just fun. I'm a very social person and am always out with friends doing something. I live alone so if I want down time I just chill at home with my cat who I named butthead. (There is a story behind it). He is a 3 year old black cat I rescued from the humane society and I love him :). I want to be with someone who has their own friends and who won't be afraid to meet and chill with my friends as I would for her. I'm a sucker for brunettes but this doesn't mean if you aren't brunette I won't talk to you.
