About Me
Hey im Alanna I'm 24 years and well I have just moved to the US. Im here because a family i knew asked me to come and help them out with looking ofter their kids, so I dropped everything and left Australia three weeks after they asked me, so it was very quick and I'm slowly adjusting to life over here now. I got here on the 29th of October 2012.
I'm still trying to work out what it is I like to do for fun over here, when I was in Australia my favourite thing was to go for a walk along the beach either with my friends or my dog, and it was perfect because the beach was only a 5 minute walk from my front door, so I'm trying to find something to replace the beach I guess. Also I'm like any other girl I love to shop, but more often then not, when I go shopping i have to buy a gift for somebody, i love buying presents. I also love watching movies, either on a couch, in a cinema or in bed, i also love listening to music and especially going to concerts and listening to live music. There are many more things I enjoy, basically i like to be adventurous and pretty much want to try everything at least once!
Also when I was back in Australia I played field hockey, I have played for 18 years now, and I love it, it's where I get to release all my frustrations and be competitive!! I am looking to maybe start playing over here too, time will tell.
As for my goals and aspirations, they were pretty much all on track until i uplifted and moved here, so i guess I'm working on making new goals. I guess I will see where life takes me.
Music. I love music, my favourite genre would probably be country, but I'm pretty much happy to listen to anything. I also love movies, and am pretty easily pleased when it comes to movies I will watch just about anything as long as it does not have Tom Cruise in it!!
I would say that im a pretty easy going person, I really just likes to have fun, i like to make the most out of every situation and very rarely say no to anything, I'm the sort of person who wants to try everything at least once!!

Also just a random fact, I don't drink coffee, so if you ask me to go get coffee sometime, it probably won't happen!!

First Date
I guess I'm pretty easy, i'm always happy for a simple movie/dinner date, but then am also happy to do something that would be completely out of my comfort zone. I guess I'm pretty easy pleased, i just am not very decisive so if you come up with something I'm happy!! However, with being so new to the area I don't really like to venture too far as I'm still learning my way around...
