I just can't do one of those one handed, over the head, mirror self pics. I figure helmet hair, with a hat, me at my worst will do for now. I guess if you are that hung up on looks, then that is probably the largest contributor to you being here anyway. None of us look like we did when we were younger and never will again. Besides I have discovered this site will not allow me to upload any more pictures. It could be something on my end, I am not a software geek.
I will start with this. I am very honest, probably too honest. I have never cheated on anyone, and never will. Sometimes I am the perfect southern gentleman, and I have been known to get roudy (in a good way). These days it is hard to be a gentleman when a lot of women don't act like a lady. Don't get me wrong, I do not expect Miss prim and proper. However, I don't care to be involved with a tramp. Just plain normal would actually be a welcome change. I believe in treating people the same as they treat me, actually better.
For those of you that have children and want me to accept them, know this: I have a six year old son. He is my only child. I only get to see him every other weekend under our wonderful custody / visitation guidelines, that are so fair to loving fathers. Do not expect me or any man to welcome you and your children unless you consider theirs. I put this in due to the many conversations that have ended once they knew I had a child. That is just self righteous, hypocritical B.S.
In the spirit of honesty I would make some clarifications. There are some grey areas, which some people (most) take advantage of when it comes to the available choices in creating a profile on this site. Body type, I feel I am a few pounds over weight, however after looking at your average body type, I might pass for athletic on here. So I made a comprimise and put average. My hair color is closer to strawberry blonde, which is not one of the choices, but gets lighter the older I get. I chose drink socially, I might drink 3 beers in a year.
I am just looking for someone to share life with. I know she is out there. When she finds me I will know it instantly, as soon as she tells me. LOL
For those of you that are wondering if there are any real men left, are all men the same, etc. I have an insight on those type questions. Yes, there are plenty real men and several of us are very different than the average bear. The problem actually lies within youself. Albert Einstein had a definition for insanity, "Insanity is continuing to do the same thing, over and over again, expecting a different result". Now think about that the next time you are looking at that handsome profile picture, or the good looking guy at the bar. You pick your idiot. That according to Mr. Einstein makes you insane.
I love all kinds of music, although some blue grass, rap and speed metal can be over the top even for me. I have been playing guitar since I was small. I'm no Eddie Van Halen but I can manage a nice melody or two. Just do not ask me to sing. If you like listening to a cat fight then I can entertain you.
I collect Mustangs. I restore them myself. I don't pay someone to do the dirty work. I used to attend car shows all over the southeast, I would like to get back into it. I'm over the competition aspect, there are way too many trophies collecting dust. I have had my car featured in a national magazine. Since I have nothing to prove, I can now just have fun. I have met a lot of wonderful and interesting people over the years at car shows and look forward to meeting many more.
I have a cabin in the east Tennessee mountains (Smokies)that has a beautiful creek running through the back yard. You can sit on the screened in back porch and enjoy the water trickling over the stones. If you are the entrepreneur type then you can pan for gold. The source has never been found despite valiant attempts by many over the decades. If you are into bikes, welcome to paradise. The Cherohala skyway is 10 miles away. Deals gap (The Dragon's Back) is across the skyway. Helen Ga is 48 miles away. If you are not into bikes then there are plenty of sites to explore using conventional transportaion. We can throw the top back on the Jeep. This time of year it would probably be better to leave the top up and the heater on. lol Several beautiful waterfalls, and historical sites are nearby. The Ocoee river, with white water rafting, is 25 miles. The Hiawassee with canoeing is 15 miles. If you are more of the indoor type, then beside the fireplace is a great place to read a good book.
I have traveled all over Europe (Heidelburg, Berlin, Munich, Barcelona, Paris, Prague, London, Brussels, Rome, Venice, Monaco, Nice, Innsbruck, Zurich, and thousands of places in between) and would love to share some of the most beautiful places with a special someone. No, I was not in the military. My job has provided some wonderful opportunities. There are plenty of great places to see in the good ole US also. I plan to see and experience as much of the world as possible. No matter where I have been, I always come away fascinated by the people and their culture.
To sum me up: Beach or mountains, suit or jeans, beer or wine, eat out or eat in, theater or home theater, cuddling or wrestling, symphony or rock concert, walk or sit, campfire or candle light, road trip or stay at home, Coke or Pepsi. It is all good to me. Everything is what you make of it, open your mind. My grandfather used to tell people, "we will treat you so many ways, you are bound to like one of them".
Last, I do not hunt or drink coffee. I have nothing against hunting or coffee, I just don't care to. I love the forest, I will drive you out there and sit with you. You kill it, I would probably eat it. LOL I do however, like to fish from time to time.
