Hello! I've spent my life studying the fine art of classical viola performance. As such, I have been surrounded by a world-class variety of wonderful, weird, brilliant people whom have always challenged and inspired me. Life never gets any easier but the cosmos have treated me exceedingly well. Due to a serious injury, I've recently been teaching more than playing but it is a refreshing change of pace =]
Sidenote: For the alarmingly substantial amount of people who don't think that music is a "real job"... I am financially stable, madly in love with my craft, and making profound impacts on young peoples' lives. Your unsubstantiated judgements shall only strengthen my resolve.
I am busy but willing to make time for the right people. I am comfortable with solitude but welcoming toward engaging company. I thrive under stress but embrace decompression. I quote relatively obscure historical figures. I savor the worst puns. I can tell the difference between a Monet and a Renoir with nearly 90 per cent accuracy. I will proudly call myself a nerd before you have the pleasure of doing so.
Appreciated but not required:
- awareness of the fundamental differences between Star Wars and Star Trek.
-the patience to spend extended periods of time at a museum, live music performance, and/or gallery (bonus points if you have insightful observations to contribute)
- the basic beverage knowledge to distinguish riesling from pinot grigio
-a desire to learn, grow, and adapt
-some form of stability. Life is sufficiently difficult without the extra baggage.
I'm not on here to hook up nor am I trying to marry you. There must be some type of middle ground which doesn't reek so odiously of desperation haha.
