First of all, I'm not on here to hook up with anybody. I would just go to a club and grind on strangers if I were truly seeking this type of primitive interaction... Instead, I'm sifting through profiles in search of those who might provide me with unique experiences and insights. If I've messaged you, it means that if I've carefully considered your interests and inclinations. Apparently, I find you interesting enough to initiate the beginnings of a friendship at the risk of being ignored, rejected and/or utterly humiliated. Fist bump if you got the Gaston reference =]
I have a young heart but an old spirit. I try to find the humor in life because it's healthier to laugh than to get angry. Despite my light-hearted approach to existence, I take my aspirations and responsibilities very seriously. I've accomplished many of the things that I've set out to do and continue to reach milestones in the midst of adversity. I am ridiculously adept at some things and hilariously inept at some other things (as opposed to being mildly passable at several things). I've spent the majority of my life around artists of all types so I'm used to being surrounded by the weirdest, brilliant, most driven individuals. Your "freak flag" can be hoisted loudly and proudly around me. Just be yourself and we'll instantly share some common ground by sheer virtue of your fearless honesty. I take pride in being a well-adjusted nerd and finally, at the age of 29, am starting to find a fairly consistent rhythm to this whole "life" thing.
Ramble, ramble, me, me, my, my, mine, moi, mi, mein, mio, blah, blah, blah.
- awareness of the fundamental differences between Star Wars and Star Trek.
-the patience to spend extended periods of time at a book store, museum, live music performance, and/or art gallery (bonus points if you have insightful observations to contribute)
- the basic beverage knowledge to distinguish a Riesling from pinot grigio
-a desire to learn, grow, adapt, and improve
-adventurous taste buds
-some form of stability. I honestly don't care what you do for a living as long as you take pride in your work and perform to the best of your abilities =]
It's impossible (and terribly dull) to cover all of the bases in this box so I'll save the rest for conversation.
