Hi, well first off I love the wintertime and snowboarding. I love the cold... OK so not like super cold but cold enough to snowboard. I am not a fan of the humid Chicago summers. I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, spent some time working in Iowa and most recently Montana. I have learned a lot about working/living in other states but in the end I like living in the suburbs the most.
I like being outside whenever it is tolerable. I listen to country music a good amount but my favorite bands are Fall Out Boy and Theory of a Deadman. Like any country music lover I like big trucks and muscle cars, but my real passion is trains. I do contract work for the Illinois Railway Museum from time to time as a steam mechanic (yes I fix steam locomotives) and as an engineer for movie shoots there. I also volunteer there too and am a qualified steam fireman and the Steam Team Crew Caller. I love to snowboard too, so much so that I have worked at ski resorts for the past 8 seasons as a snowmaker and a snowcat operator. Its a crazy job but its something I enjoy doing, plus I have never had a boring job so to speak.
I guess I am on here to find someone to enjoy life with and that can put up with me working on/talking about trains. Id like to find someone that enjoys the great outdoors but wont mind a night in. I am not a big partier at all. I would rather be around a bon fire or at some dive bar on a Friday night.
