About Me
Seems as if a lot of people who are seeking a partner are still trying to figure out who they are. I know who I am. I am a happy woman who laughs easily and enjoys being around people who do as well.
I am hoping to find a man who can be both a best friend and a lover and who also laughs easily. I don't mind if he needs his own space and time to himself; I need that too. I have lots of interests and hope that he will, as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he can cook and give a great back rub. I enjoy gardening, cooking ( I'm a better than average cook),home improvement, the arts, working out, travel, horseback riding, volunteering, reading (big mystery fan), music (anything but country western and some experimental), etc. I'm thinking of taking up golf, but we'll see how that goes. I have terrible hand/eye co-ordination, but since the ball isn't moving when you are swinging at it, I guess that doesn't apply. I am comfortable in just about any environment, whether it's an elegant restaurant or at a picnic in Napa or the mountains, but I don't see myself on the back of a Harley. I am open, affectionate, and outgoing and I enjoy men who are confident and secure in themselves. A day without laughter seems boring. I'm in decent shape, so that's important attribute for a match too. I'm not interested in anyone with a lot of baggage, although a small duffle-size amount would be fine. I have at least that much myself. Oh, one more thing. I look and act younger than my age.
I am generally easy going and am very happy and content with my life, But there is one thing missing...a man to enjoy the adventures life can bring and to cuddle with in front of the fire at the end of the day.

First Date
I think the best first date is something simple, like meeting for coffee.Yes, everyone says the same thing. But if things are really going dismally, you can make a fast getaway. And if things are going really well, let's move onto lunch or dinner....or maybe the rest of our lives.
