Feeling at home with someone is more important than accomplishments or stories of past glories. I love my son dearly; he is in his second year of college, and he lives near his campus.
For exercise, I swim and walk regularly. To relax and have fun, I like to dance, and sometimes watch sports, especially Giants baseball or Italian soccer, or listen to music, and I like to read, write, and watch movies--comedies, or well-directed dramas with great actors in them.
I love nature and natural, organic ingredients for the flavor, the good health, and the environmental impact. Friendly dogs have a special energy that makes me feel comfortable. I usually like to sleep and wake up relatively early. My taste in music is definitely eclectic--Tony Bennett to Tupac. Soul. Good Rock n Roll. It's all good. Let's laugh at life together.
Maintaining a positive attitude and a gratitude-based perspective makes life better.
One of my favorite fortune cookies reads: A calm sea does not make a skillful sailor. We all encounter obstacles that give us opportunities to shape our souls.
We can meet for coffee or a glass of wine so we can talk and get to know each other. I consider all encounters as learning experiences. We may not become long term partners, even though that would be a beautiful thing, but we can enjoy the company and learn a new perspective on life.
