About Me
I love anything that involves being outdoors,I appreciate my outdoor time even more as I get older, since my work requires me to be inside.Basically,any activity that you can have the opportunity of enjoying this beautiful world we've been blessed with. I like to be active and enjoy jogging,swimming,skiing,hiking,walking my dogs,boot camp class,yoga, horseback riding,the beach,mountains,camping (you get the general idea). I also like to watch movies, and try to get some culture in,(theater, music, art). I enjoy almost any type of music, with my favorites being soft rock, 80's, pop, and even some christian-rock in the past few years.
I would like to be able to travel more, I love new places and adventures, so that is something I hope to accomplish more of, since I am almost done with raising the kids,(if one is ever done)-lol:) There are a few destinations that are must haves!
I have a great job, but have decided to join some of my kids back in the college world. Hopefully it will enhance my career some day, if not, it will provide a way overdo personal accomplishment. So, my time is pretty busily accounted for, but certainly have time for the right person. Although, some compromise and understanding may be required, based on demand. :)
What makes me unique, hmm... Well, I've been told that I am a good listener,comfortable to be with, warm, honest, look young for my age,funny and basically down to earth. I strive to live my life with integrity and would love to be able to look back and see where I left my mark and made a difference. That continues to be a work in progress. I hope to meet someone with some similar qualities. I tend to be an open book,what you see is what you get. Not sure if those constitute as unique, but some of those qualities do tend to be lacking in some people... Thanks for taking the time to read yet another stimulating profile! :)
