About Me
I just moved back to Rochester from the San Francisco Bay Area where I was working for the San Jose Sharks. However, I busted up my knee some I'm back in my hometown recuperating after surgery. Before that, I went to school at the University of North Dakota. Needless to say, it has been a few years since I have been home, and since I am going to be here for a few months, I'm looking to meet some new people.
I love sports and staying active- I have a passion for HOCKEY-watching, playing, discussing, and coaching- because I have played for 18 years and was offered to play for several D1 college programs and volunteer coached for the local youth hockey program for more than 4 years. I ran cross country and track for 6 years each plus played a year of lacrosse. I am also certified through Americorps on ropes/zip-line courses.
I love REAL beer.I haven't drank beer from a can since I was 13 and never will again.
I am extremely sarcastic and have a very dry sense of humor thanks to the influences of Dilbert, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and The Onion.
I have a wide taste in music ranging from swing to country to indie to classic rock to alternative to hard rock.
I come from a strong family and was raised with the "work hard, play hard" philosophy. I am looking for people of the same mindset.
Also, I am a CNA and have worked in nursing homes, childcare centers, and with the special needs community.
