About Me
I am a single mom of two bi-racial teenage (18 & 16) sons who are amazing young men (Although I admit, this teenager stuff can truly test your patience at times...lol) Both are athletes: soccer, football and basketball, so I'm a sports fan. Football is my favorite -- Go Giants!!
I also enjoy being outdoors - walks by the water, camping, fishing, BBQs with family and friends. Of course I like shopping too. :-D .. so flea markets, outdoor fairs, pow wows and festivals are favorites! My passion is "new age" complimentary medicine including veryNative American ceremony, hands-on healing (reiki master and massage therapist) as well as tarot reading, etc.
I work (workaholic?) for a nonprofit organization and go to work everyday hoping my efforts -- even if they are only a drop in a pool of all the needs in the world -- will somehow make a difference.
I can take care of myself, but life is so much more fun with a passionate partner to share it with!!
Someone to share both the ups and downs of every day... that "soft place to fall" at the end of the day, those warm arms to comfort, that voice of encouragement, knowing someone is in your corner and is there to protect you when you need it.... someone who understands you and also understands it isn't always ice cream and cake, but its still worth it ( and make-up sex is usually great! :-D ) Those are a few of my thoughts about what it means to be partners, lovers, best friends ......
