About Me
Not quite sure how to summarize myself enough to give someone a grasp on who I am. I cringe at the thought of these self-summaries but here I am writing one. The name is Ashley. I am 21 years of age.
I consider myself a free spirit. Life is not worth the stress, I want to live it as best as possible. Some people say I'm witty. Although, I can speak fluent sarcasm.
I've been through different stages in my life, some I am not proud of. I have been slowly taking down the wall that I have put up since I was young. Finally breaking out my shell to see what life is all about. In 2011, I've decided to change myself for the better. I lost almost 80 lbs and never felt better than I do now. Staying active and healthy is my world now. I am adventurous, I love to travel and explore new areas. I like anything outdoor related. I'm looking to meet new people that I could connect with.
I'm not a material girl or high maintenance. Objects will not make or break me. I would perfer a quiet picnic than a fancy restaurant any day. One day I want children. Not now but someday. Intelligence is attractive. I'm also attracted to peoples morals and compassion's. I like to understand what makes people happy and what goals they have for themselves.
I'm in school to be a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I work full time with the elderly who have a form of dementia. I'm also in a reserve branch of the Air Force, I leave for BMT on June 11, 2013. That's why I am not looking for anything serious until I come back. Just mainly wanting to get to know new faces and see where it goes.
I like to compose and play different genres of music. I play acoustic guitar and piano. I'm also a decent cook, I don't like eating preservatives. I'm referring to the meal in the boxes, pre-made microwave foods and most things from a can. Though I sometimes still eat that, most of time I cook from scratch. I'm addicted to the specialized running events. I've been hoping to do the Warrior Dash and the Run For Your Lives one. The last one that I participated in was the Color Run. Which was pretty neat. I've also did a few others.
