Hello, the fun part is writing about oneself. I am quite happy with my life while missing a very key element which is the elusive, but well worth it "significant other." I don't mind my own company or being alone but it sure would be nice to share all the world has to give with someone.
I enjoy my work and its nature keeps me busy a lot of the time. But make no mistake about it, my significant other will never feel ignored and she will know whenever we are together that she is the focus of my attention.
I love to go out for dinner and drinks and don't be surprised when I hold the door open for you. Chivalry is not dead. I also like to cook or be the assistant. Nice music, good wine and cooking a good meal is fun...whether we get to eat the food or not.
I travel somewhat for business and the thought of travel as a work perk has long since disappeared for me. But I do love to travel when its for pleasure. So my partner will have to love (or at least like) to travel...with me.
I long for the feeling of the anxiousness of seeing her; how she lights up the room when she walks in; the sound of her voice when we call each other just to let each other know...we were just thinking....
Sound hokey? Perhaps for some, but this is my time to find my "First rate romance" and the one for me...forever.
Going online to find someone kind of takes away the spontaneity of meeting someone...exchanging warm smiles...striking up conversation and igniting "the spark". But here goes.

First Date
While this is something to determine between two people, it appears a busy coffee shop with multiple exits is the prominent venue. Quick getaways I suppose. I am open to coffee and good conversation and I won't be looking at a watch (don't wear one) nor will I be checking a cell phone. Whether a spark exists or not, there is no excuse for poor manners and we should both leave with at the least the notion of having met a nice person. I am open to drinks, dinner or helping you in a nightmare renovation. You never know someone till one of those.
