About Me
Well it's looking like I'm.going to fund my retirement by working massive amounts of overtime on the road over the next 3-5 years. So I'm going to adapt a Jackson brown song to say what my life and relationships might be like

When I move back to San Jose, I'll be back to availability for supporting and loving the right person.
pS, I have lost 13 lbs since all pictures, and will probably lose 12 more. Trying to get back to running shape, as well as being able to dance more hours more often. NOW, working on Short Triathalon training.
Hobbies: Salsa dancing, hiking, camping, computers, cultural events (ballet, jazz, blues, theatre), going to events.
Hopes: Looking to live life in the bay area, take in all that it has to enjoy, travel to see all the places in the Beach Boys song for the movie, "Cocktail", see local tourist places all throughout California, have good friends.
Me, Uniqueness: Good at dancing, can be serious AND fun, understand women (and 'girls'), have 4 children I support through 'childfund.org', have friends in different parts of the world.
Music: Everything except rap, religious, extreme rock, modern 'country'. I DO like classical, and seeing/hearing it overseas. I saw Romeo and Juliet at the 'Kirov' in St. Petersberg, again in Kiev, Ukraine. Now that Russia's 'Bolshoi Teatre' has been rebuilt, I want to see the 'Swan Lake' in Moscow. I once saw a piano/vocalist duet in a restored Polish church in Kiev that brought me to tears - I could hear every little intentioned nuance that Rachmaninoff had put into the music because, A) The performers were that good, B) I have had enough music history to know the historical context of his times and what he was contrasting against enough to be different and remembered.
As far as my match goes, I prefer an equal. One of the things that REALLY makes me admire, respect, and want to treat a woman like my queen and best friend is when she has compassion and treats all people well - but her compassion comes with enough self control to not be used by other people and practical enough to have a good job. Ii like: good heart, good soul, good mind, good job, good hands.
We are all just doing the best we can with what we were dealt as young people and with our genetics. If you are unique because of how you grew from that (and continue to grow) . . . we might have some common values to build something great! Or, we just might like having met once. Worth the effort of trying, I think :-)

First Date
Tea, hike, something casual. If we do something we share in common as an activity, and talk, that would be starting out right for me. Would welcome any real conversation on this though. Or, I'll lead. Real, (in combination with the tingling, and fun of 'challenge/mystery'), is the best way for two people to learn important things about each other.
