About Me
Rewriting my profile pretty quickly, still need to organize it a little better I guess.... just wanted to update it from how I used to have it (very brief!).

I love to have fun and hang out with friends. At the same time I can be perfectly content to sit at home reading, writing, playing video games, or just talking.
I try to stay active off and on. I enjoy running, working out (occasionally), making artsy things, and tennis and golf are both sports I once played and enjoyed. Haven't done either in a while, but would like to get back into them someday.
I do love animals and the outdoors, camping and hiking are both great. I haven't done much of either for a while and wish to change this.
I have a great love of music, but mine is pretty odd. I love classic rock, jazz, blues, old rap/hip hop, and progressive/power metal. I'm OK with some techno, dubstep, and a few pop songs... but I more or less dislike most/all country music and most rap. Basically, the majority of my favorite music is usually not going to be on the radio or incredibly well known though.
Lately on TV (netflix) I've been watching Eureka, Warehouse 13, How I Met your Mother, and a few other TV shows off and on...though I don't really watch a ton of TV these days anymore. Some of my favorite TV shows have been Stargate SG1, Monk, Dead Zone, Scrubs, and How I Met your Mother.
I finished up college with a graphic design and math degree, I also have a lot of random classes and engineering courses in there. That's the reason for my headline about art + math. I always enjoyed the confusion I was given when talking about something like Differential Equations when others were finishing up their math requirements of algebra... it was a really weird fit with my major for several.
Anyway, I love to just hang around and have fun with friends. My humor can be random and all over the place. Sometimes it can be odd, and others it can be "Tyler, sometimes you say or do something and it's the funniest thing I've heard/seen all day or week." I also tend to be pretty reserved and calm, and at other times can bring out the reaction of: "I so wish we had a camera to record you right then."
As a final (but not at all least important!) note, I am a Christian and was raised in church. I've went up and down in my faith throughout the years, but God is still important in my life and I definitely want to date another Christian. This doesn't mean don't talk to me if you're not, I'm open minded and friendly with everyone. I'm described as "the last test to see if [person] truly can't get along with anyone at all," sometimes.
So get to messaging / replying to me! I do like to try to get to know new people and learn new things. Also I would like to say I do realize my profile is pretty long now for me having said it was short. I just want to better organize it now I suppose.

First Date
That really just depends on the interests I guess. Dinner, movie, park, disc golf, zoo, events (like the renn fest)...just whatever seems good.
I love coffee so I could easily just do that and chat, the walk about and get to know each other more. If there is some small music event that is easily talked at, I would love that. Basically talking with a little fun is the best way to go I believe. Something like a movie date would definitely have to be more than just seeing the movie then leaving.
So first date? I really have no clue, let's pick something out of a hat!
