I'm looking for new friends (and maybe more) to explore the Monterey Bay area with. I work during the week and want to meet someone who has free time on the weekends to do crazy fun things and get the most out of the Central Coast and beyond.
I enjoy trying new things and going on random adventures around the area.
Things I like
- power walking the rec trail
- hiking (slowly and with great exertion but nature is cool)
- golden oldies (1930s - 1960s) and vocal jazz
- eating amazing sushi and the pineapple upside-down cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory
I'm not interested in playing mind games or providing selfies. If you think binge drinking every day is fun, move on.
I'm attracted to people who
- like to learn new things and are curious
- know themselves and what they want out of life
- spontaneous and adventurous yet rational
- are open, honest and genuine
- are not homophobic, racist, or hateful. Live and let live
I do believe it is important to understand the difference between knowing your sh*t and knowing you're sh*t . Similarly, I prefer messages that do not read like a cat stepped all over your keyboard.
Shoot me a message if you're intelligent, independent, and have your act together for the most part. If you want to meet for coffee,
go to the Boardwalk/Great America, or even the Academy of Science, cool beans.
Something low-key like coffee/tea a non-Starbucks locale . (I consider the 'first date' as more a meet-and-greet to gauge compatibility, since meeting strangers on the Internet is scary. So accordingly the second interaction will be more a 'first date' scenario with actual thought and intent behind it).
