Hello. I'm an energetic,young-hearted spirit that loves to get to know people of all cultures and all walks of life. I have been fortunate enough to know my purpose in life which is to teach. I have been a bilingual educator for many years. But I also enjoy the simple things in life like spending quality time with family and friends. I can strike up a conversation easily with others. I enjoy early morning walks, dancing, going to the movies. I want to take up biking and build up the stamina to ride from Benicia to Napa one day. I also enjoy reading, traveling even if it's just to explore the history and beauty of small towns in the area.
I have three adult children who no longer live at home. I'm extremely proud of each of my children (1 son and 2 daughters). They are responsible, respectful and talented young adults. They each have careers that fulfill their passions in life. My greatest joy is spending time with my three year-old granddaughter.
As far as music goes,I pretty much like it all: rhythm & blues, light jazz, instrumental guitar, oldies, some country songs etc. I especially enjoy listening to Mariachi music. Juan Gabriel and Ana Gabriel are my favorites, but I enjoy other Mexicn artists too. I can salsa dance with a good leader, but I most like to dance Mexican Cumbias. I just love to dance period.

First Date
The first date would include a nice, quiet atmosphere to enjoy a nice meal together and light conversation. Basically, it would be a time to just get to know each other. Hopefully, the weather would be nice enough to enjoy a short walk around the city. It could also be very casual and we could just meet for a cup of coffee and conversation.
I think before an actual face-to-face meeting, we would have had some communication on line or by phone to know if we had enough in common to actually meet.
