I am looking for someone to share life, but still independent enough to understand that we each need our own time and space. I enjoy the outdoors, whether its sports or casual walks around a park or lake. Exercise is important to me and although not necessarily looking for a workout partner, it should be important to you as well. I enjoy watching/attending football and hockey games, but am not consumed by it. People would describe me as an optimistic person and am looking for the same.
I have a relatively successful career and feel lucky every day that I found a career I love. From my discussions with friends and others I've met, it seems that my career is more stressful than most, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Because I wear a shirt and tie everyday, I am quite comfortable getting dressed up for evenings out as I am in jeans.
I enjoy meeting people with different backgrounds and views on life. I believe that all people you meet, talk to, and/or get to know, influence you in some way, or at least give a different perspective on life. I am the type that knows their local coffee shop folks, dry cleaning staff, the waitstaff at my favorite Sunday breakfast spot, etc. Even though I haven't met "the one" yet, I have met a few people online where we've remained friends. I'm still optimistic that there is someone out there to share life with one another.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Go out for a nice meal where we can chat and get to know each other.
