About Me
A little bit about Me:
I am a lot of things both positive and negative. I am a balance between being able to intellectually analyze and articulate my thought process and having the ability to just be...
... and because I am seemingly ethnically ambiguous (which proves useful every now and again), ill set it all straight: i am puerto rican, mexican and ecuadorian with a swirl of italian. Also, it says prefer not to say for body type because they dont list curvy as an option.
Job Wise:
Going through a transition and complete career change. I am focused on applying to graduate school in hopes of getting an Masters in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Fashion Merchandising. That being said, I'm taking a break from the typical 40+ hr to focus on me.
Things I do well:
Styling others, shopping, laughing, talking, drawing during important work meetings, being loud, being quiet lol, finding a beat to dance to in techno ... basically having a good time.
Random Bits and Pieces:
PLEASE NOTE: I AM 5'8 and i LOVE wearing heels, so i strut a mean 6'.
Im a good writer, and yes, bad grammar bothers me.
If This World Were Mine by Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn is still and will always be my favorite song.
I really want another tatoo or few (well see if that ever happens).
I can cuss better than your father, thanks to mine.
I know how to code switch appropriate to my setting without losing who I am as a person.
Favorite Books, Movies, Shows, Music, and Food:
Music: I am definitely a musically diverse person. latin jazz, salsa, merengue, bachata, underground and mainstream rap, techno, funk, house (into this right now), 90s R&B! (always and forever), reggae (especially dance hall), disco, dub-step, mash-ups, reggae-ton, alternative, 80s hairbands ... seriously, the list goes on and on.
Movies: I HATE horror movies. I wont watch them, they freak me out. Other than that, I watch stand-up, romantic comedies, action, drama, documentaries, foreign flicks ... anything that sounds interesting enough. Netflix has definitely expanded my movie interests.
Books: Rain of Gold , Almanac of the Dead , The Night Circus, Hunger Games, Harry Potter series (yes i love those books), Twilight series (shoot me lol). I like reading autobiographies and fiction ... in all honesty im a pretty avid reader and im always willing to take recommendations for a good book.
Shows: Single Ladies lol, and pretty much anything on Bravo, TLC or E! Family Guy is the business and FML if I stay on Lifetime for more than 5 minutes :-/
Food: Love, Love, LOVE spicy food ... and food in general.
