Well, the point is to spend / share this life with someone special. Sharing life with friends is fine, but that’s not the answer. Love is the answer. I just need someone to love. (Seems like I’ve heard those words before somewhere.)
So, just who am I looking for? Someone who is kind, considerate, loyal, sensitive, polite, serious, not serious, humorous, loves to laugh, can easily laugh at them self, smart, witty, very witty, eclectic, intuitive, perceptive, passionate, romantic, communicative, confident, sincere, courageous, consciences and a bunch of other stuff, all good.
So, just what do I bring to the table? I bring all of the above and then some. I believe that what strikes the eye is important and that what strikes the heart is even more important. What strikes the heart can change the eyes perception. I guess you could say that it could be a game changer.
I believe that if two people share the same values then they can make a go of it and of course if they don’t then they can’t.
Oh, and last but not least. Being a bit of a smart ass wouldn’t hurt. No it wouldn't hurt at all.
*I find myself confused by some of the photos ladies are posting: trees, houses, cats, dogs, flowers (beautiful, but...), cars, sunsets, boats, horses- OK horses get a pass, but only one horse photo, two at the most. I may long to see all of these things when the time comes. Just sayin!
**No you can't always get what you want, but you can try sometimes.
Well I believe that some or most of us have been trying a little to hard. Perhaps the more you try the more we miss out. Remember we're all on the back side of the mountain and picking up speed at that. Perhaps I for one should stop making this so difficult and start enjoying life with the one who isn't perfect. Who knows perhaps they'll turn out to be perfect for me.
***Note: Finding a date is easy, finding a good man / woman not so much.
Something easy, a drink, coffee, perhaps in the city, whatever, where we could talk and get to know a little about each other and make sure we both have a great sense of humor. Then comes the first date. Hopefully!
And, if we get to that first date, I want to sit across from you knowing full well that I have the best seat in the house, and if I know it I'll make sure that you know it.
