I love anything to do with horses (have a couple), riding, rodeos, ranching, dirt, pickups, tack shops, cowboys, levis, and the friendly folk I have met at functions, but I also enjoy getting dressed up, black velvet, heels, hair and nails, after all, I am a girl! I also enjoy cooking, home renovations, travel, spontaneous road trips, occasional dinners out, curling up in front of a fireplace and a movie (hey, a fireplace, some marshmallows and an Irish Coffee...perfect!!!)
I would one day like to build a new home with my partner, on a small acreage. Privacy and and the peaceful quiet are a great gift. I love to learn continuously, and will probably continue my education in my field of work for a few more years, all the while enjoying learning in life through experience. Travel to far off places also holds great appeal, (as does great kissers!!!) Building for Habitat for Humanity would be a dream come true, or building shelters for those less fortunate in other countries, I even have the power tools, having worked in construction and doing renovations on homes I have owned.
I am told I have a great heart, I am sincere, caring and compassionate, although maybe a bit on the shy side, taking it slow isn't a bad thing. I'm also well-educated, but can be rather quiet, sometimes I choose to not say much and enjoy listening and learning about the person I am speaking with. I work full-time shift work which does include the occasional night shift, which I really enjoy, although they can make me sleepy. I so enjoy curling up against my guy, and drifting off for a nap. I believe in being fair, each half of the partnership is just that, an equal half. (I choose Starbucks or Hot Shots one day, I will happily go to Timmies with you the next time!!!)
I love most kinds of music, excluding heavy metal and rap. I have music on 95% of the time that I am not working, there seems to be a great tune for any situation.
PS....IF YOU ARE SMOKING, I'M LIABLE TO THROW A LARGE BUCKET OF WATER ON YOU, I WILL ASSUME YOU MUST BE ON FIRE!!! sorry, no desire to date anyone who smokes. Also, if your friends think you are a princess, and high maintenance, we probably won't get along. I live a healthy lifestyle, watch what I eat, keep fit, and enjoy hiking and most everything outdoors too, although definitely not the "jock-ette" type!. I haven't skated for years, but I do own skates.
You should be able to feel comfortable in jeans, or getting dressed up for other occasions, not be a couch potato, be intelligent, kind, compassionate, passionate, good looking. I find I am most attracted to those that have self-confidence, know what they want, and strive to achieve it. You need to be easy to talk with, and can make your partner your best friend.
