I spent three years in sacramento attending Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts emerging with two diplomas; one for Culinary Arts, and one for Patisserie and Baking. I found a love in wedding and celebration cakes and desserts, and currently work in Los Gatos as a cake decorator. I genuinely enjoy what I do, and I also love doing cakes and various other sweet treats for friends, family, and clients on the side. However, the last handful of years has brought another and even deeper passion for physical fitness and nutrition to my forefront. I've spent a lot of my life waging war with my own inner demons in these regards, and I'm still fighting today. I have found that my trainer now, as well as the one I had in Sacramento, were and are nothing less than invaluable to my journey of self-discovery and physical health. I am still in the middle of my journey to get back the athletic body I had after the number of harder years I had to experience to get me where I am today. I am at the gym almost everyday and have major goals in mind for my physical future. I have recently adopted a Paleolithic lifestyle. I love it, and am excited about all the different ways I am learning to adapt recipes. I am not so ingrained as to say I'll never indulge in pasta or ice cream ever again. Frankly, I can't picture a life fully devoid of pasta. So, please don't feel like I would judge your lifestyle or that I would be the kind of person that would tell you all the things and places I would not be able to eat. I'm not that girl. I am soon to be studying kinesiology to get me into the career of personal training as an accumulation of my own physical and mental fitness and nutrition journey. I want to help people learn to love themselves for themselves and no one else.
I am a girl of many interests. I enjoy being a girl and everything that includes, but I also love getting my hands dirty with the boys. I am currently building a '91 Camaro RS with my brother. I love anything tactile like that. Working with my hands, from cakes to cars, and everything inbetween, I thoroughly enjoy working with my hands.
I also love baseball. I haven't been to a game in age, but I watch as many as I can, when I can. Giants all the way, baby!
I'm a nerd at heart. While studying kinesiology, I will also be studying business, accounting, dance, and theater arts. I've always loved learning and school. Crazy, I know.
I enjoy bein outdoors. Camping, hiking, shooting, boating, bike rides on the coast, road trips, fishing, horseback riding, going to the lake or beach, boating, etc. There's just something about being in the fresh air with the sun on your face.
I am very family oriented, but I have never been married nor engaged, nor do I have any children of my own. I do, however, have eight nieces and nephews, and one on the way, that all have stolen my heart in their own ways.
My ideal first date would be something fun and silly. Dinner and a movie are great, but maybe after the initial relationship is starting to form (you can't talk and get to know someone if you're sitting in a movie theater. Apparently it's the rules...) Things like zoos, miniature golf, go-carts, batting cages, live music in a park; anything that would be fun and silly, while still affording ample opportunity for long conversation and getting to know each other. I love to laugh more than anything, so somewhere we could do that without getting shushed would be perfect.
