About Me
I am a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Sacramento, CA twice over. In 2011, I graduated the Culinary Program, and in February, 2013, I graduated from the Pastry Program. I have found a love for wedding cakes, wedding planning, as well as playing with chocolate and various desserts. My classes in Sacramento were completed in December, and I have since moved back to Santa Cruz. FINALLY!!! In the fall, I will return to school to get my Business Management degree, probably with a minor in Accounting, and an AS in Computer Networking. We’ll see what happens from there. Needless to say, I am very goal-oriented, and have a very solid understanding of what I am looking for professionally. I love to learn, and will probably take classes that have nothing to do with my majors simply because the subject matter greatly fascinates me.
I am very family oriented, but I have never been married nor engaged, nor do I have any children of my own. I do, however, have eight nieces and nephews, and one on the way, that all have stolen my heart in their own ways.
I am the kind of girl that can spend an entire afternoon underneath a car, all dirty and greasy, and then ready to go to a nice dinner within an hour. I am very soft and feminine, but love to be hard and boyish at times. My brother and I will be building me my Camaro from the frame up as soon as I get the time to spend with him to do so. I look forward to that immensely.
I love anything that has to do with the outdoors and am always looking to try new things I haven’t done. I love hiking, camping, boating, picnicking, fishing, 4-wheeling, horseback riding, going to the lake, Giants games, anything that will put me outdoors. I am also very into my fitness. I am working to get my athletic body back after a few hard years. I am at the gym at least 5 days a week. I have an unnatural love of the stair climber and rowing.
I am a big people watcher. I am so fascinated by the way people behave when they don’t know anyone is watching them. It’s addicting really.
What I have to offer…
How does one go about talking themselves up without sounding like they are talking themselves up? Hmmm…
All I can tell you about me is the truth. I am a very kind-hearted woman, sometimes to a fault. I am made up of nothing but compassion, integrity, honesty, and loyalty. I am fiercely faithful to my family, my friends, and my lover. I have never cheated on a man, nor will I ever do so. I often find myself hopelessly romantic and whimsical of finding my Happily Ever After. I am in no rush, but am definitely looking to settle down and think about a future with someone and everything that entails.
Hidden talents:
I can rub my stomach & pat my head at the same time
I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue
I can touch my nose with my tongue
I can do the cup song from the movie Pitch Perfect. YouTube it. :)
What are yours?
First Date
My ideal first date would be something fun and silly. Dinner and a movie are great, but maybe after the initial relationship is starting to form (you can't talk and get to know someone if you're sitting in a movie theater. Apparently it's the rules...) Things like zoos, miniature golf, go-carts, batting cages, live music in a park; anything that would be fun and silly, while still affording ample opportunity for long conversation and getting to know each other. I love to laugh more than anything, so somewhere we could do that without getting shushed would be perfect. Sushi dinner is always a winner with me.
