Why the heck do people make online dating profiles and not put up a picture? Waste of time, people.
Plenty of Fishing, lots of broken lines and lost sinkers. You should see the one who got away....
Not exactly a fisherman though, maybe I need to learn how to set a hook. I love reading, that's gotta be my top hobby. Fantasy, some sci-fi, mystery/detective, and action thrillers. JRR Tolkien, Robert Jordan, Jim Butcher, Nelson DeMille -- these are some of my favorite authors. I also love camping/hiking. And I play chess.
I work in sales. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. On the plus side, I get to meet all kinds of new and different people every day. On the negative side, most of those people suck. Ya win some, ya lose some.
I'm a Christian, and consider myself to be spiritual, but not particularly religious. If you want to know what that means to me, ask. It's nowhere near as weird as it might sound. I have pretty broad tastes in music. I listen to pretty much any genre. I have on my Pandora radio 80s hits, big band, hard rock, 80s rock hair bands, outlaw country, and symphonic. There are others, but that's a sampling. I'm also a huge fan of Oregon Ducks football. Born and raised in Oregon, a large part of my heart resides there still. If it weren't for the awesome warm winters here, I'd probably have moved back already. I'm sold on Columbia, famously hot!
I'm a guy who knows who he is and what he wants. I absolutely am not looking for a hook up or something temporary. I'm looking for a woman who is young at heart. Ideally, she has her sh!t together (at least 90% of the time). She has to enjoy the outdoors. She also has to be just a little bit crazy. And I'm looking for a woman who is looking for a serious relationship, in time. Happy fishing!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
First date? Ideally, a first date should be something customized for the two people involved. But in reality, most people first date will be something like coffee at Starbucks. And there's nothing wrong with that. Online dating is something that calls for a certain sense of safety and security, and a nice public place like Starbucks is just the thing for that. Plus, it gives you a chance to talk without having to scream at each other.
