I love my life and I am looking for someone to share it with. I own my own home, have no bad/weird drama in my life, I have a little dog whom I love very much, I have an amazing family, and I have a great career. I want to find someone who wants to have children and start a family but also understands that I need time to chase my musical dreams in a realistic manor. I love my job and am going in to my 14th year at Syracuse University. To be blunt- I have my sh*t together, unlike a lot of guys on here.
I'm very jovial, always trying to get people to smile. Very hug-able. I usually wear jeans or shorts and a t-shirt, but have been known to clean up well. In fact, I like the idea of dressing up and going on a fancy date now and then just to keep things fun.
I love to read and do so regularly. I also like to write short fiction as well.
As far as movies go, I'll watch just about anything with a good story, but I prefer to watch comedy and horror movies. I love a good documentary now and then too.
Musically, I'll listen to just about anything except for 99% of all country music and rap. I love Billy Cobham, Phish, Mahavishnu Orchestra. Especially Phish, I've seen them about 7 times and was at the Clifford Ball. They're definitely my favorite band. I really love music and play in a band that practices twice a week and gigs out regularly. I love watching people dance and move to the music my band plays. Our shows are always a good time!
I love to cook and make an awesome vegetarian stir-fry or curry. I like to brew my own beer and make a fresh batch a couple times a year with my father.
Please only message me if you can hold down your end of a conversation and use proper grammar. Please say something other than "Hey", "Hi", or "What's up."
Also, I'm not really looking to date people who are transsexual, highly religious, prostitutes (seriously, they're on here), unemployed, girls who are heavily tattooed or pierced, or women who think sarcasm is a notable personality trait. I'm not saying these things are bad, just not what I'm looking for.
For a first date, I prefer somewhere quite, like a coffee shop or small pub where we can chat and get to know each other.
