Hi to all who read this. :) I am a kind-hearted person with a spunky, playful nature. I am always honest and try to help others whenever I can.
I tend to be very diverse in my tastes and interests. I am just as happy going out, as I am staying in with friends or just that special someone. I like a huge variety of activities. I enjoy art, history, music, culture, classic cars, motorcycles, fishing, boating, card games, lively conversation, and so much more.
I wouldn't say that I have TONS of friends, but the ones I have are very special people. I am drawn to people that are "REAL" in the sense that they know who they are and what they are about. I would give anything to a friend in need as they would do the same for me. They are the type of friends you have for a lifetime, through the good times and bad.
Here are some things that you should know about me. First and foremost, I am a mom to a wonderful 6 year old. She is the most amazing person I know. Second, I am a tall and heavyset woman. I am very secure about my body, but I am always trying to be as healthy as I can be. I am active and I love spending time outdoors.
I design, create and sell handcrafted jewelry to stores. I also do repairs and teach it too. I am now back in school studying to become a goldsmith. It is very challenging and is both creative and requires technical precision. Both of which I love.
I love to learn, I am fascinated by everything around me. I am a constant asker of questions, I want to understand as much as I can about any given subject. I read a great deal about all different subjects. I usually have a few books on-the-go at once, something for every mood.
I love to travel and see new things. I enjoy learning about other cultures and their histories. I have been to many great museums around the world and seen much of the treasures they have to offer.
When it comes to spending time with friends and family I much prefer to have a dinner party, BBQ or card night then to go out to the bars, although the occasional pub night can be fun.
Music is another key thing for me. I am very passionate about music. I was a singer many many years ago and had extensive training. Although I don't do it any more, It is deeply ingrained in me. It has the power to change my entire mood at times. I am very eclectic with my tastes, as I enjoy all genres, just not everything in them.

-I want someone who has confidence, not arrogance, about who they are as a person. You don't have to be loud or outspoken to be this. The shy guy can still know who he is inside.
-I want someone who can show me and tell me how they feel. Communicate with me. I want you to be able to share your feelings and wishes knowing that I am always accepting and non-judgemental.
-Honesty is a must above all else. I don't want someone who tells me what I want to hear. I know my own opinion, I want to know yours.
-Humour is the best attractant. I love to laugh and have fun. I am a happy person by nature.
-I need someone who can stand up to me. It's not that I like to argue, I don't!! I detest fighting! But I am always up for a good, healthy debate. I am an intellectual. I want to know how others think because I find other peoples reasonings and thought processes fascinating. Learning how you feel and what you think, helps me understand you better.

First Date
I prefer to do things that allow for conversation to occur at least part of the time. The whole point of a first date is to get-to-know each other better. It doesn't have to be fancy or even cost any money. I am just as happy going for a walk somewhere as I am going out for dinner or coffee.
Going out and doing something fun is always a good idea. I love to laugh, so comedy and other entertainments are always enjoyable. Its always fun to try something new and going on a date where both people are experiencing it for the first time can be both entertaining and amusing. I try not to take myself too seriously, so even dates that are by most standards "a disaster" can still be good ones if humour is involved.
