About Kaelyn
How to describe myself. My favorite things in the world are travel, food, and books. I will eat anything, read anything, go anywhere. I believe life is our one chance to do as much as we can in whatever amount of time we're given. Fear of the unknown is the one thing that keeps us from growing. I don't affiliate myself with any religion, because I don't think there's any answer to what's out there and what'll happen after and all that. I don't mind if you're religious, just don't push it on me, because believe me, I push back. I don't go with tradition just because it's tradition. I'm not your traditional woman. I graduated from San Francisco State with a double major in Spanish and English Literature. There are so many things that I want to do that I don't know what to do first, but for now I'm trying to develop my talents and get my feet on solid ground. Right now I work at a fine book press in the city and although it's not my dream job, I think it very well might be the first step in that direction, and I don't know where I'll end up. In my free time, I like to cook, do yoga (anti-gravity is my favorite), watch movies (I'm up for anything), and unwind on the weekends at my local bar. I'm absolutely sick with wanderlust. I plan on moving to the Far East for a year or so to teach English, and I'd eventually like to go to graduate school in Paris. I'm always game to learn something new, though I don't like to lose because I'm kind of competitive. I like all kinds of music, but generally it can be separated into two categories: music I can sing to and music I can dance to. I'm just trying to live my life the best I can, treat people the way they deserve to be treated, and be happy. :)
First Date
My ideal first date has very few requirements. Someone who makes me laugh, who I can talk to easily, and who's going to be honest. One thing I can't stand is games. If you like me, say so. If you don't, say so. I'll live either way. Let's go to a casual restaurant or just get a coffee. Let's not stand by ceremony. See where the mood takes us. I'm open.
