I realize now that I have stronger friendships with people that I have common interests with. That being said I love to travel, I prefer 3rd world country travel, no cruises or laying on the beach at some resort. It reminds me not to take, many things for granted, potable water from the tap, indoor plumbing etc, etc. 2010 I went to Rwanda and Uganda, alone. Part of the time I was on a safari and a week I was on my own, a white woman wandering around by myself in Africa. This is me. I am adventurous, and independant. I was in the Peace Corps and feel comfortable in strange places and not strange places. I consider myself spiritual not religious. I do believe in God and pray on a daily basis. I like to joke and really like people that can make me laugh. My sense of humor is eclectic from slap stick to witty. I didnt have children but I have a cat that gets treated better than many children. I had rotator cuff surgury in May of 2011. The surgery taught me a lot about patience, and appreciation for my group of friends who took care of me my family is in Michigan. I hike with the Sierra club or my girlfriends on the weekends, I use to backpack I am open to doing that again still have all my equipment. I love the movies go weekly. I like to bake and garden. I get bored at concerts, prefer plays or movies.
I don't need a relationship, but I want one. I miss some of the simple basic benefits of having a boyfriend, intimacy, sharing how your day went, having someone to go on long walks with etc.
