I'm a schoolteacher and artist of landscapes and seascapes and I love teaching Art to children. I have traveled overseas quite a lot,and I lived and worked in Greece for a few years when I was single, in the mid 80s. I hope you won't mind that I posted a couple of my favorite pics from my years overseas...I think they show a glimpse into who I am..even though it was a long time ago, my experiences have helped to form my outlook on life...my. love to learn about other cultures and people.
I love to paint scenes of the Greek Islands and Venice as well as the Low-Country area of Charleston (where I live) and Savannah (where I grew up))
I would love to move back to Savannah someday where I have extended family and friends.
I've been divorced for 5 years, and now that my daughter is grown and married, I'm ready to have a man in my life.
I hold no grudges. I don't waste time or energy on negative emotions. Divorce is hard enough on those involved without getting into anger and bitterness. I'm not saying I'm some kind of a saint! I choose to be happy, to live at peace with others...the Lord has helped me through tough times and will be with me to the end.
I would like to believe there can still be a "soulmate" for me...I'm not anxious to marry again, but haven't ruled it out either
I am ready to look and hope and experience again...
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the Mysterious...it is the source of all
True Art and Science...he to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer
Pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe
Is as good as dead; his eyes are closed"
Looking for an honest interesting man who has faith in God and respects women.I have a very busy lifestyle (during the school year). I think it would be wise to talk and get to know one another before we meet. Coffee and conversation, or a light dinner may be a nice first date.
