About Me
I've been told by many people that I'm a guy in a girls body. I'm real laid back and not too emotional. This is not saying that I totally act like a guy, yet I somehow relate and get along well with guys. I think it might have to do with growing up with an older brother, and attending a school that was 90% male, I was the only girl in my graduating class, twice. Yet, don't be afraid, I don't look like a dude, I sport high heeled boots and dresses, yet, I can rock a hoodie and some ripped jeans like its my job. I have a weird sense of humor, I'm usually the one that provides entertainment at work or in social situations. I've been told by several employees that, "work is so boring when your not here, and goddamn Ashley, don't ever take a day off." I don't take life too seriously, I've had my share of rough times, and don't find the need to dwell on them. I believe in "forget regret", you shouldn't regret anything you do in your life, because it makes you who you are today, and sh*t(sorry I have the mouth of a sailor, don't worry my teeth don't reflect that), you should be happy with who you are!! I have my Associates in Concert Production: Lighting and Sound, and now my Bachelor's in Music Business from Full Sail University in Florida. Also attended Cornell and Virginia Tech for a period of time pursuing Animal Science, yet decided to leave once I realized I didn't like walking around in cow poop. Also went to Massage Therapy School, graduated, and worked as a Masseuse, yet got tired of touching dirty and hairy people.
I love to get my drink on, rip it up on some Call of Duty 4, listen to music, live concert experiences, and watch some intense action or funny movies. I try to stay away from Child's Play movie as much as possible, i'm deathly afraid of Chucky...
I plan to eventually open my own venue/bar. I love having a comfortable and cozy place to get a good drink, listen to great music and chill with good people. Until then, I am working on getting into Band Promotion and Marketing.
I'm slightly a wild child, yet, I know when to be serious.
I've recently become obsessed with Dexter. I would love to be in his mind for one day.

I love reading, currently reading, Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential," I love that man, to live his life would be in comparision to, a fat kid at the Krispy Kreme factory!! I love horror novels as well as Classics. The Stranger by Albert Camus, just because I believe myself to be an existentialist. I also love, A Prayer for Owen Meany, I Know this Much is True, and She's Come Undone. Horror Books, go as far as, "I am Legend," "Contagious," " The Shining," and any cheesy horror quick read. I'm a sucker for a good graphic novel as well, I read "The Watchmen", before all the movie hype.
Favorite movies: Pete's Dragon, The Last Starfighter, The Punisher, Crash, SLC Punk, Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem for a Dream, Clockwork Orange, Donnie Darko. Clash of the Titans (Old Version), Julius Ceasar (with Marlon Brando), What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Due Date, Planes Trains and Automobiles, The Great Outdoors, Coming to America, Who's Harry Crumb?, The Hangover, Explorers, Goonies, and Billy Madison.
Music: I listen to Punk, Classic Rock and some Hardcore, some favorite bands: The Clash, The Smiths, Husker Du, The Minutemen, Pink Floyd, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, DragonForce, All that Remains, Roses are Red, Atom and His Package, Guttermouth, Rush, Rusted Root, DamagePlan, Dispatch, Reggie and the Full Effect, Thursday, Cursive, Dreamtheater, Get Up Kids, Muse, The June Spirit, The Supervillians, Catch 22, Journey, Jefferson Starship, The Pixies, Basement Jaxx, Buffalo Springfield, but I'm known to also get down to some Rap.
I'm currently a Manager and Full Time Night Bartender of a Small Restaurant in Oldtown, Alexandria. Working on getting into Promotions and Marketing of Musical Acts. Living each day like its my last.
I have a great deal of street smarts, I can tend to talk my way out of any situation.
I spend alot of time thinking about:
my future, who I can inspire, and what I can do each day to make myself a better person.
Dirty Jokes I can tell my Bar Guests.
Are gnomes stealing my socks?
