Luna is one of my favorite characters from Harry Potter books - aloof yet intuitive and bright. Not sure if I am like the character but I am drawn to it in the books and movies :-) What I do know about myself ... I am kind, intelligent, active and funny!
I try to lead an active life; I enjoy my work and downtime. You'll find me in a blend of cultural and outdoor activities - indoors - I love to visit museums, go to the symphony, eat great food or home with a good book or movie at home; outdoors - I am often out gardening, hiking, backpacking, and walking. And I love to travel internationally and I have so much more of the world to see. Just back from NYC where I spent days with family and nights out with friends dancing and eating. I hope to find someone with similar interests and energy levels. For music, it might be easier to say what I don't like (metal and most country music). Otherwise, I am pretty open to the music scene.
You? I am looking for an open, kind, gentle, communicative and funny fella with a passion for life. Someone who likes people, the outdoors and kids. I am fairly liberal with a bit of traditional in me so you'd have to be open to new ideas and views.
Drop me a note and we can see where it leads...
Quick note/request: Please don't ask in your first email if I'll meet you today. I won't.
Please include a current photo of yourself in your profile.
A conversation or an attempt at one would be great way to determine if we want to meet. I know it's not easy but we can try. The list of recommended subjects is a great way to start. And I admit I am not the best at email chatting.
Does anyone else think it's funny that the web address is plenty-offish?!
No. I am not drunk in my photos, just relaxing with friends.
Please no vulgarity. It's just rude.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
My first date is a bit traditional. I prefer meeting for a drink or dinner and learn about you. I find it's the best way to ease into dating.
This gives us a chance to talk about ourselves and discover what our goals are and to evaluate whether we communicate well without too much pressure. If it goes well, we can go dancing...
