Don typically is a confident businessman with a history of working for seven fortune-five hundred companies. But meeting someone, possibly THE someone, he finds somewhat intimidating.
Some consider Don to be the proverbial tall, dark and (some have said) handsome gentleman of a particular age. He is respectfully dressed, but not overly so. Don is fit, works out regularly. Stays mentally fit as well with many varied interests. He has a minor in psychology and is fascinated by the inner workings of the human mind. Even to the extent that he has become an accomplished amateur hypnotist. He is very spiritual and is familiar with “The Secret” and “The Power”.
He has been on POF since July. Has conversed with several women, met a select few. He still has faith in the online match process, having an extensive information technology background.
Don has most recently re-invented himself, once again, as a movie screenplay writer. Is actively working to promote his latest project, a historical action movie in the same genre as the blockbusters Pearl Harbor and Top Gun. He firmly believes that this is his current calling.
Don has been in love before and thinks it sad that some claim to have never been. He is seeking to regain that elusive emotion. That feeling of synergy with another, that the sum of the two is greater than the sum of their parts alone.
Just then he notices an attractive lone woman as she begins to scan the room. She is met at the door by the hostess. They converse and begin to head his direction. As the hostess leads her she makes eye contact with Don and gives him a discreet thumbs up. This brings a smile to his nervous face as he rises to greet his new lady. He extends his hand to her.
