Thanks for checking out my profile. We’re all on here for the same reason. We’re all looking for that special someone to grow old with. Some are still looking for that person and some of us thought we found that person, but life took a different direction and I guess that person wasn’t the “one”. So here we all are.
Here’s a little about me. I’m a divorced single dad that cares very much for his kids. They are 9 and 7 and I have 50/50 custody of them. If you like a guy that has a “McDreamy” (yes ladies that was a grey’s anatomy reference) hair style, then move on. I have hair but not much so I decided to go completely bald. Quite honestly it’s a better look than the receding hairline. I am faithful, funny, sarcastic, and confident. I don’t play games and I’m not a cheater, but have been cheated on. I say that because the why did you get divorced topic usually comes up. I still believe in opening doors for ladies and walking side by side not in front or behind. I don’t like drama and I don’t create it. I am a firefighter and I love my job. I have never woken up and said I don’t feel like going to work. I have a great work schedule, I only work 9 days a month. When I am not working and I don’t have my kids I enjoy cruising around on my boat, some kind of a DIY project around the house, going out with friends, or just relaxing in a quiet house watching a sporting event, NCIS, or something that is educational on TV. Sorry, but teen mom, honey boo boo, and most reality shows are an embarrassment! I don’t think rewarding a teen that gets pregnant a TV show is the right answer for that issue. I know I may upset some of you when I say this, but the Bachelor and Bachelorette are a joke! Is it good entertainment to watch, maybe? It’s not realistic. It takes time to really get to know someone. I think there’s only one couple that’s still married from that show.
Ok who am I looking for? I’m looking for someone to take me out of my comfort zone, which could be a challenge. I run into burning buildings on purpose and I’ve jumped out of an airplane, so let’s see what you got! I’m looking for someone with a sense of humor; ok a sarcastic sense of humor. I’m not looking for a mother for my kids they have one, but you do have to be good with kids or have kids of your own. I won’t introduce someone to my kids until I know there is a long term possibility and the time is right. Feel free to ask me anything, I’m an open book.
I could tell you more about me but that’s what the initial meet is for. I look forward to hearing from you! Let's go hang out and have a good time and see where it goes. Go Red, Go Brewer’s, Go Blackhawks, and GO Packers!!!!!!!! Don't hate me for my love of the Blackhawks; we don't have an NHL team here!
Dinner/drinks, coffee, or somewhere where we can get to know each other. If we hit it off, the next time we go out, and the weather is nice, we'll go on a cruise downtown and hit some places on the river.
