About Me
As a 4th grade teacher, I try to instill in my students the qualities I think are important to have as an individual and as their teacher, I hope they would say I am a good example for them of displaying these qualities....kindness, respect for others, working hard, responsibility, pride, independence, self confidence, loyalty, and integrity.

I'm a very laid back person who doesn't care for drama at all. I'm very family oriented. I spend a lot of time with my 4 nieces and 1 nephew. I see life as a precious gift and recogonize that we do not have forever and I do not want to waste the time I have been given. Life is too short to spend it being grouchy or lazy or pessimistic. I consider myself well balanced...I enjoy being active; I like going to the gym and running (I have run 2 marathons) but I also enjoy relaxing in a beach chair reading or watching a movie, cuddling with someone I love. I love to travel, especially to any place warm.

First Date
I don't believe in an ideal first date. I am fine with anything from meeting up for a cup of coffee (even though I don't drink coffee!) to meeting for dinner and a movie and walking on the boardwalk. I've had first dates that lasted under an hour and ones that lasted several hours. The only thing that I think is important is that you come with an open mind. You never know.... That has become my mantra through this whole process. I have found chemistry with some people I never thought there would be and those I thought I would be attracted to...well, it just didn't happen. So....you never know!
