About Me
I’ve decided to spend some time writing a real profile so here it goes.
A few years back I decided I wanted to change careers and went back to school to become a nurse. I still can’t believe I made it happen and how much I enjoy my new career every day.
My mother lives in Northern California, my father Washington. I grew up splitting my time between the two states. My parents were polar opposites divorce was imminent. Dad taught me to appreciate nature, the beauty of the sea, Levis, and a well-built hot rod. Mom taught me fine dining, heels, upscale hotels, and rock-n-roll.
The combination of upbringings has made me a woman who loves camping, traveling, joy rides, being girly, being a tomboy, and having a great sense of adventure.
I have mostly camped in California. Yosemite being my favorite but Tahoe is a very close second. Most camping experiences have centered about lakes. Wakeboarding and jet-skiing have filled many summer days. Campfires and friends laughing filled the nights.
Traveling has been limited thus far but I have enjoyed many states, the Caribbean, Mexico, and five countries in Europe. I plan to travel around the world and look forward to the many cultures I’ll encounter.
Joy rides are most fun with someone who enjoys the same genre of music and sense of humor. However I have endured some pretty great rides with hand holding and beautiful scenery listening to news radio or sports wrap. I guess it’s the company that makes the difference.
The girly side of me loves dressing up to go to dinner, enjoys spa days, shopping with the girls, keeping a tidy home, and cooking up a storm while hosting dinner parties. The tom-boy side loves dirt bikes, four wheeling, and an ice cold beer on a hot day. Both sides love to end the day cuddled on the couch with someone special.
My sense of adventure has led me to: white water rafting, sky-diving, live sporting events, concerts, traveling alone, becoming an EMT, returning to school to become a nurse, and moving my entire life to Washington.
In my mind I’m looking for someone who has a great sense of humor, intelligence (well-educated or self-taught), financial and mentally stable, respectful, and romantic. I don’t care about height, hair or lack thereof, or if you’re a gym rat or not. Just be fun, kind, and have a sense of adventure.
I embrace life and enjoy what it offers. I am hoping to find a special man to share my life with who (whom?) in turn enjoys a happy life with me as friends and lovers.
