Looking for a friend that will grow into something special. I value honest, communication and silliness and bonus points if you like animals and can dance.
Changed my fish and my profile a little. Looked for a Dogfish to match my line but no luck so went with the suckerfish. I may not be ready to jump into marriage but that also is not an indication that I want to bed hop. Please don't take this as a challenge I don't need the drama in my life and not looking for a player (got played not once but twice so will be on better guard from now on), please don't make me the other woman that is a horrible position since I have been on the other side of that coin. I may not be a practising Catholic currently but the roots are still there. I wish everyone the best and peace be with you.
I have one teenager still at home and he is my life, my joy and primary focus. Not saying that I can’t or won’t make time for you but just saying…ultimatums about my parenting or negativity about my son and it won’t sit well with me. I am the mom and he knows it but we are also very close and he looks over my shoulder and lets me know, “nope mom too athletic you can’t hang with him”. He also is six foot and like to remind me how short I am.
I actually love to cook. Nothing real fancy –lasagna, chicken spaghetti, chicken enchiladas maybe a couple more. Yep high calories and throw in my desserts and I am chubby. I joke my pets are chubby, my kids are chubby and I am chubby. When I have extra kids around visiting can tell which ones belong here and who are the visitors.
I bike for leisure and walk my dogs for same. So if your idea is a 15 mile bike ride gosh can I call a taxi and meet you at the end with a drink? I used to be athletic but in 2000 tore some ligaments in my knee and I have a fear of doing more damage. I love to country dance and would like to have a partner who is willing to learn or already knows how and maybe the possibility of taking salsa lessons. I like to play pool and shuffle board is fun too (is my South Texas beer joint background showing?) Bowling is fun.
Since I have teenagers I listen to pretty much everything. Selective hearing does come into play with rap and couple of other styles that the older one plays. Prefer country to dance to and like top 40 for my daily drive to and from Austin.
Not that big a fan of television but do enjoy HGTV for remodeling and yard ideas. Netflix is our friend and weekends without my son are movie time for me.
I do have big dogs and hopefully you love dogs or at least can tolerate them because I have had the ultimatum once and I still have the dogs. I like cats but younger son is allergic to them so for his sake have to pass on cat owners.
