I'm hitting a transitional phase in my life now that I've completed my Master's program, and it's time to reevaluate where I'm at...
Who I am:
I have been focusing quite a bit on advancing my career, but I try to keep a good balance between my professional and personal life. My family is extremely important to me, and I'm willing to tell anyone that my grandparents are my favorite people in the world. I am serious when needed, but most of the time my sarcastic sense of humor comes through. As for my interests, I love being active, working out, playing tennis, skiing, fishing, or shooting pool. I also love going into Boston for a Bruins game, trying new restaurants, and going to concerts. I prefer classic rock, alternative rock, and indie rock, and (while I may be in the minority) I'm not necessarily a huge country fan, though some of it is okay.
Who I am looking for:
It would be great to find someone who has a sense of direction in her life and who is motivated to succeed...I want someone to be my equal, not someone I have to babysit and push to get her life in gear. Other than that, she should have a sense of humor, be emotionally stable and personable, enjoy being active, and hopefully appreciate chivalry.
At this point, I'm not looking to jump immediately into a relationship, though if I click with someone well enough, I would let things progress naturally. I want to be with someone, but do not NEED a relationship to be happy.
If you have read this far and are at all interested, buck the norm and shoot me an email, even if it's just a "Hi!". The worst that could happen is we don't match well, but at least you would have been bold enough to take a chance. It's why we're on here in the first place anyway, right?
p.s. - big points if you knew that my headline did not mean I want someone to say nice things about me...
