About Me
I moved to Austin a little over a year and a half ago from Florida for school. So far I am really liking it! There is so much to see and do, and I like exploring what this city has to offer… though it wouldn't hurt to have someone to explore it with! A little about me… I'm currently about halfway through my doctorate and also teach undergrads. In my spare time, I love hanging out with friends, taking my dogs to the parks, traveling, music (especially live concerts), movies, going to the gym (I am there almost daily, I love that place!), and so on. I LOVE live sporting events, though I will be going through some withdrawals without being able to see my teams play live! I did get to go to my first Cowboys game last season, which was amazing! I like to think of myself as a pretty well-balanced person. I can be a girl's girl one minute and a guy's girl the next. There are very few situations I've come across where I can't hold my own. I love to be silly and have fun, and do whatever the moment provides.
I'm looking for someone smart and funny, with a little wit and sarcasm mixed in. I really enjoy someone who can carry a conversation and has something relevant to say. I'm a pretty affectionate person, so I'd obviously like that in a partner - love the nights in cuddling but also like to go out too. It would be nice to find someone with other similarities (except the girl part) but who has their own interests that they can share with me. I don't have time for drama and hope you don't either.
