In this last three years and half I have experienced both a transformation and a coming home. Everything about me has changed, and at the same time I feel I have rediscovered my essential nature. Today I find that there are never enough hours in the day to accomplish everything I hoped to get done in that day. I am almost always inspired by new projects and goals that I see as taking the next step to becoming a better person and living this short life without waste or regrets.
One of the most important things I've learned by surviving a few decades of adult life, is that things that seem optional are often quite essential, and things that seem mandatory--may not even be very important. If you stay open to learning new ways of living this paradigm of life continues to shift and surprise you, and the surprises are the things that delight you the most.
Having fun is not really optional. If I don't devote myself to pure fun and play on a regular basis than everything else in my life will begin to fall apart. I have a job I love most days, good friends that make me feel loved and cared about, active involvement in giving back to the community by helping people in need, and good physical health. But sometimes it is the having fun part that stumps me.
I would like to meet someone who would like to join with me in finding creative ways to get out and play on a regular basis. I find that when the company is good fun can be had in the most simple and easy activities, a hike in Tilden Park, having coffee somewhere with sidewalk tables, finding a good spot near the water to watch a sunset, seeing a movie, going bowling, attending concerts, etc. etc. I am always open to new etc. in the fun department.
I am also a gym rat, so if you are looking for someone who would love to go work out at a moments notice I may be your girl. I always keep gym clothes in the car.
I usually keep things pretty simple on a first-first date. You are meeting the person behind the picture for the first time and it is enough for me to share a beverage and get to know each other a little. on a real first date I would like to do something fun, laughing together can be very romantic.
