I can have fun doing just about anything, especially when I’m spending time with someone I enjoy. Finding humour, laughter, pleasure, enjoyment…even in the mundane is what makes life worthwhile. The eternal optimist ... "is the glass half empty or half full"? I'm happy to have the glass :)
At this point in my life, I'm more comfortable being me than I've ever been, and that's one of the things I appreciate the most in others....that, and the ability to laugh until your face hurts :)
I miss the feeling of being so comfortable with someone that you don't know or care what time it is, where you are or what you have to do tomorrow. I miss looking into someone's eyes and seeing things that no one else can see.
I treasure my life and the wonderful people I hold close to my heart...my son, my mom, my friends. The only thing I'm missing is you...someone special who'll whisper in my ear to make me giggle during long boring speeches we're obligated to sit through....who'll let me warm my toes on your nice warm feet...who'll fit perfectly behind me when it's time to go to sleep and I feel your arms wrap around me and your lips kiss the back of my neck before we say goodnight...
Life is too short to spend it alone and far too short to waste it watching others having fun.
Let's share all the incredible adventures that are out there, just waiting for us to discover. Come stay young with me while we grow older together...we can lean on each other when our spirits need a rest.
