About Me
Granite Bay, California cyclist here! Also, skiier, reader, swimmer, smartass :) Looking for a date and then marriage. OK, maybe after the second date.
Like intelligent, open, honest women who are also looking for a long-term relationship. I have had many experiences in life having lived in France, Canada and a myriad of places in the US. I value compassion, empathy, honesty, integrity and intelligence as the primary motivators in a person's life. One thing I have compromised on before is having a relationship with an athletically involved woman. Since I enjoy a myriad of things for exercise time (also a hobby) I would like someone to share that part of my life with as well. I am great at many things, expert at none (OK maybe 1 or 2 pursuits.) Always willing to try something interesting and physically stimulating. The woman I spend the rest of my life with has to be my best friend. I have never married (almost twice) and have no children. Marrying someone with children is not a problem and at my age expected :) If you haven't run for the hills yet, contact me. Talk to you soon. I was raised Catholic, and it was OK, but now I am spiritual. I think most religions or spiritual sects have merit. I do not believe in religious or spiritual intolerance, and really do not want to meet up with someone who's "religion" is the right one. Oh yes I almost forgot. My parents are Canadians which I guess makes me one now too.
One thing I have noticed on a couple of "meet ups" has been that the women I am meeting, while their profile says that they want that special someone in their life, they don't seem to me to be people who have any intention of "squeezing" a significant other if it is inconvenient (very long sentence I know.) The fact is that a relationship takes compromise and respect of the other person. I am looking to meet someone, that hopefully goes to the next step, ie marriage, cohabitation, love forever, etc... :) If I was looking to "squeeze" someone into my busy schedule, I would just date, screw and have a nice day them. Can't replace a father, but children love me to challenge their intellectual curiosity. I am more than willing to help the little people, because they are very special. Happy Fishing!
