This is a new chapter in my life, after a long term relationship, marriage and separation. During that time, I partnered in a horse business, and lived in the country near Peterborough, as well as Kansas and India. I have also been a professional actor and high school drama teacher, as well as teaching ESL. I have studied Tai Chi for many years, and teach that also. I also practice Reike. A few volunteer organizations I've worked with, Transition Towns, Development and Peace, and the Seeds of Hope Foundation. These are some of my main interests. I love biking, and attending cultural and artistic events. I also do some wood carving. I am healthy, fit, active, fun loving and easy-going. I've lived in many diverse environments which has given me a lot of life experience, though people usually think I'm younger than I am. I was born in Ireland, but I have lived the majority of my life in Toronto. I have traveled and lived in many places around the globe also. I also play Irish traditional music, though my taste in music is quite varied. I love my own culture, but I also love interacting with people of different cultures, and ethnic backgrounds. I really value communication in an open-minded, compassionate spirit. with a light heart. Looking on the bright side, with a sense of fun and play. I am hungry to learn more, about everything, and I approach life with a sense of joy and wonder. Life is infused with art, and I connect with that. Social justice is important to me. In relationship, having a playful spirit is the best way to be, though not being afraid to go to the difficult places, working through those we free ourselves to become more fulfilled. Being supportive of each other to realize our individual and collective dreams. and getting spontaneously tackled...or stealing half of someones sandwich.
Talk on the phone, meet for coffee and take it from there. There are all kinds of fairs and festivals on in the city this time of year. Toronto island is a fun place to go. How about white water rafting for a first date?...just kidding.
