About Me
I'm a very active and usually very upbeat person. I have my BA in Psychology & Education of the Special Needs Child. I work in Human Services dealing with the Forensic Population. The job can be very demanding, but I am trying to maintain some balance.
Must love dogs :) I volunteer with a few rescues but am extremely active with one in particular. I have dogs of my own plus I provide foster care for others until they are homed. It's a lot of work... But it's my "thing". So far I've fostered at least 105.
Most importantly, I have a daughter who is the best thing that ever happened to me. My daughter is not "baggage" in any sense of the word. She is a beautiful, smart, easy going kid with a lot of hope for a bright future. So,if the thought of dating someone with a child is hard for you to bear, then I can't imagine us being a good match :)
Also, I prefer to date relatively locally. So, no offense to all of the New Yorkers, but I am not interested in dating "out of state". I just don't think it is practical and conducive to a real relationship. I have a child, a job, friends, and family so I am not moving out of the area any time soon. Unless of course, you are relocating and you are planning on doing just about all of the long distance travel then maybe it could work out! :)
