About Me
I am of the belief that "Life is what you make of it", this thinking helps me to let go of excuses and forces me to take responsibility for the good and not so good in my life. It also allows me freedom and empowers me to stay open to life's possibilities and to have the courage to follow my dreams.
I was born and raised in Mexico, I studied foreign languages, which brought me to travel to USA and I've lived here for over 20 years.
Over the years, I built a career as a web designer, yet I have put the computer away for now, and I am starting a new path as a Yoga instructor. I'm also pursuing a Holistic Health Practitioner degree among a few other alternative disciplines.
Almost two years ago, I adopted a canine friend, and I'm very much enjoying the discovery of a new world that comes with pet ownership. :) We are outdoorsy type of gals, and we try to spend time in the sunshine every day. We love to lounge at the park or at the beach in the summer, while reading a book. Yeah! Life is short and it is meant to be enjoyed! :)
I believe I have much to offer. I'm independent, creative and adventurous, an overall happy person. A work in progress, as life is a journey of expansion to be explored and to be enjoyed. -- I'm not shy and I speak my mind. You can say, I dance to the beat of my own drums.
My desire is to meet someone to share my life with, explore the world "inside & out", create memorable experiences, learn and grow, walk hand in hand, build something we can look at with pride, a 50th wedding anniversary, much joy, a wonderful legacy.
I look forward to meeting the man who inspires my heart. -- Chivalry, eye contact and a big smile go a long way.
